The heavy-barrel (HB) designation means that there is more metal there. Some of these taper at different points, either underneath the handguards or from the front sight on. The HB whose thickness does not vary (i.e. is maintained from back to front) offers the most durable design. The 16" barrels are available in a lightweight configuration, M4 profile (thin under handguards, thick outside handguards, and with a cutout to allow mounting of M203, and in a heavy barrel. For this rifle, a lightweight or M4 Gun Magazines profile offers the most advantages as far as weight and handling.

mwgsam15

-

HARRIS BIPODS: MWG Company
Harris Bipod Model 1A2-25 12""- to 25"" Solid Mount Black" Code: HBP-1A2-250 Harris Bipod Model 1A2-25C 13-1/2"" to 27"" Solid Mount Black" Code: HBP-1A2-25C

DFG Site Map - Tactical Gear - Products - Page 2
HIGH RINGS - ROP-040-040; TACTICAL SCOPE RINGS 30mm HIGH RINGS: 50 Caliber, 25 MOA (6 screw rings) - ROP-50C-325; Harris Bipod Model 1A2-25 12"- to 25" Solid Mount Black - HBP-1A2-250

HARRIS BIPODS: Mounting Solutions Plus (MSP)
Harris Bipod Model 1A2-25 12"- to 25" Solid Mount Black Code: HBP-1A2-250 Harris Bipod Model 1A2-25C 13-1/2" to 27" Solid Mount Black Code: HBP-1A2-25C

"Harris Bipod Model 1A2-25 12""- to 25"" Solid Mount Black": MWG
Harris Bipod Model 1A2-25 12""- to 25"" Solid Mount Black" Quantity in Basket: none Code: HBP-1A2-250 Price: $73.12
With a known target of a diameter of 16 inches that fills just half the distance from scope center to post, the distance to target is approximately 400 yards. With a known target of a diameter of 16 inches that fills the entire sight picture from post to post, the range is approximately 100 yards. Other ranges can be similarly estimated accurately in an analog fashion for known target sizes through proportionality calculations. Holdover, for estimating vertical point of aim offset required for bullet drop compensation on level terrain, and horizontal windage offset (for estimating side to side point of aim offsets required for wind effect corrections) can similarly be compensated for through using approximations based on the wind speed (from observing flags or other objects) by a trained user through using the reticle marks. The less-commonly used holdunder, used for shooting on sloping terrain, can even be estimated by an appropriately-skilled user with a reticle-equipped scope, once the slope of the terrain and the slant range to target are both known.

mwgsam50

-

CBS News - Trucks towing artillery pieces covered with camouflage tarpaulins were trailed by khaki-colored trucks that appeared to be loaded with ammunition. The innovative features of the AR-10 would eventually be developed into the U.S. Army's M16 rifle. While mostly original, the AR-10 built upon previously proven designs. From the FAL it took the hinged receiver system allowing the rifle to be opened for cleaning much like a break-action shotgun. The bolt locking mechanism is similar to the Johnson M1941 Rifle (itself an adaptation of the Browning designed Remington model 8 bolt). From the German FG42 and Johnson Light Machinegun came the idea of straight-line stocks to reduce muzzle climb in fully-automatic fire. Fairchild was an aircraft manufacturer, and the use of plastics, titanium, and aluminum were common in the aircraft industry at the time, though not generally used in firearms.

mwgsam77

-

Ghillie Suits

We Strive to offer you one of the largest selections of high quality Ghillie Suits on the net, and at good prices for cheap ghillie suits. This is usually the most important factor.

The physiology and behavior of an animal. Animals with fur need different Camouflage than those with feathers or scales. Likewise, animals who live in groups use different camouflage techniques than those that are solitary.

If the animal is preyed upon, then the behavior or characteristics of its predator can influence how the camouflage develops. For example, if the predator is color blind, then the animal will not need to match the color of its surroundings.

Animals produce colors in two ways:

mwgsam43

-

Listed below are all the products we currently carry for the Pentax MZ-60 Digital Camera. More Gun News...

photoSIG photo critique and discussion forum, a community of photography enthusiasts from amateurs to professionals. More Gun News...

LongoLines MZ-60 - Modz Modular 6.5" High Jewelry Box Chest - LongoLines MZ-60. In my opinion neither of these teams will be top tier this year, G-Burg had their shot last year, and WAC just seems to have been fading into mediocrity since the 2004 season.

Thoughts?

mspmwg41

-

Tactical shooting course

(Note: Following accepted practice, this article uses the term "officer" when talking about any person whose work is to do police functions. In Ireland, they are called gardai, in Russia, militsiyaner, and in French speaking countries, they may also be called surete or gendarmerie.
Should teachers be able to bring guns to school? (MAGNIFICATION SCOPES)

Backed by gun-rights groups, Doe intends to challenge the school district in state court this week

More than 600 firearms seized in Mundelein arrest
Chicago Tribune - In what is believed to be the largest gun bust in Lake County history, undercover police seized more than 600 weapons from the home of a Mundelein man who allegedly was illegally selling guns from his residence, authorities said Monday. Michael P

</strong></p>

Smith Wesson k frame

Wrap the sanding film around a large rubber eraser as a sanding block, and sand the scratches out, being careful to keep sharp edges sharp, and flats ripple-free.

Work down through the grits to the finer grades.

Sand slowly, and do NOT use any power equipment, since high speed abrasion will actually melt the plastic and marr it worse.

To finish up and blend everything together, you can bead blast, BUT you have to use a finer grit media and run the frame grip k smith wesson WAY down.

I recommend experimenting on scrap plastic to determine what kind of pressure you need.

The idea is to blend the the frame finish and make the sanded areas blend in, not give the plastic a rough finish.

Be warned, that unlike metals, bead blasting can remove significant plastic VERY quickly.

Often an acceptable substitute for bead blasting is to use a paste of Barkeeper's Friend or Comet cleansing powder.

Make up a paste of powder and water, then "scrub" the plastic with a clean toothbrush to give the plastic a matte finish.

This can also be used to blend and flatten stainless steel after scratch removal with Scotchbrite pads.

mspasfeh042

The less-commonly used holdunder, used for shooting on sloping terrain, can even be estimated by an appropriately-skilled user with a reticle-equipped scope, once the slope of the terrain and the slant range to target are both known.

mwgsam50

</strong>

Smith Wesson model 41

I'm picking up a Smith Wesson model 41 this weekend and was wondering what brand of ammo works well? The Charging Handle is molded of Carbon Fiber, and captivated takedown pins allow Upper and Lower Receiver separation for easy cleaning and lubrication. The Type 97 Pistol includes iron sights - the rear is a ghost ring type, and the front sight is a heavy blade integral to the gas block. The gas tube is enclosed for strength and the enclosure is vented to aid in cooling. An ergonomically designed Hogue Over Molded pistol grip is fitted for comfort. Though no forend is included, the shooter can simply wrap the weak hand around magazine and well for two handed shooting.

mspasfeh060

I only had time to take a quick look at it, because it was almost closing time. The Beretta 92 or M9 has been on my "To Buy List" for a while.

At $575 it was okay price for my area, plus it had Crimson Trace grips. So all week I've been trying to figure out a way to fit it into my gun buget. Because I had a Marlin 336 and a Norinco 97 on layaway there and a S&W 4006 on layaway at another Colt 1908 grip. Well I came up with a bit of extra cash so it'd fit the buget, so I head up there today and ask the gal to see it, good thing, in the better light of day (when I was there last, at night, the shop is really dark ) I noticed it had pretty good holster wear, so I asked if the owner was a LEO, the gal said yes, but only a reserve. The more I looked the stranger the wear patterns Beretta 92 fs . Worse yet the thing was caked in p93 ruger in every nook and cranny. I did a quick strip down and the p93 ruger was dirty. The more I saw the less I liked.

I hand it back and start to look for a Ruger Blackhawk in .357mag they had NIB, gone.

Then I notice a S&W model 59, chromed and the grip feels wrong.

Then next to the 59, under the phone on the counter, I see a nice Colt 1908 grip

mspasfeh007
